A horrible Toronto pedestrian accident has claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman after she was struck by a vehicle on private property near Eglinton Avenue West and Dufferin Street.
Toronto Police were called to the area at about 8:25 p.m. on Thursday. According to investigators, the woman was standing in front of a vehicle and helping guide the driver up a temporary ramp. Police say the vehicle suddenly moved forward and struck her. The 73-year-old driver was operating a black Honda Passport.
