
Jeremy Magence,
Managing Partner
Jeremy is the managing partner of Bergel, Magence LLP. He was
admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1998, after
graduating with a B.A. in 1992 from Yeshiva University and Osgoode
Hall Law School (LLB) in 1996.
He is currently a member of the Law
Society, Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers
Association and the American Association for Justice.

Lorne Climans,
Lawyer
Lorne attended York University where he won the Book Prize Award
for highest first year undergraduate marks. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1982, and was called to the Ontario Bar
in 1984.
Lorne has been practicing law with Bergel's firm since 1985. He
practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and insurance
law litigation.
Chris Finlay, Lawyer
After completing his articles with an insurance defence firm,
Chris joined Bergel, Magence LLP in 1998, when he was called to
the bar.
Since then, Chris' practice has focused on plaintiff personal
injury including slip and fall and motor vehicle accidents,
product liability, professional negligence, civil assault and
disability insurance litigation.
Andrew Bergel, Partner
Andrew Bergel graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2001 and
was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. Andrew completed his
undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario.
He practices in the areas of personal injury with a focus on Motor
Vehicle Accident and Slip and Fall injuries and is a member of
OTLA (Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association).

Ilan Bergel,
Partner
Ilan Bergel was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in
2005. He graduated from Concordia University with a B.A. in 2001
and from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004.
He is
a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar
Association. Ilan's practice
is devoted to personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents,
slip and falls, product liability, and disability claims.

Tanya Annarilli,
Law Clerk
Tanya Annarilli has been with Bergel, Magence LLP since 1998. She
graduated with honours as a Law Clerk from Humber College in 2001.
She has extensive knowledge of the Ontario Statutory Accident
Benefits Schedule regulations and specializes in processing
claims.
Experienced in the Dispute Resolution Process, she
represents accident victims at Mediations before the Financial
Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).

Helen Bergel, Office Manager
Helen Bergel has been working in the practice for approximately 35
years as office manager and real estate assistant.
A teacher by
profession, Helen has played an integral role in building Bergel,
Magence LLP into the firm it is today.
Shawna Magence, Office
Manager
Shawna is the office manager and bookkeeper for Bergel, Magence LLP.
She has been working with the firm since 1991 when she
graduated from Yeshiva University with a B.A. in Psychology. She
is also a certified mediator.
She therefore spends much of
her free time volunteering for a variety of community based
organizations. She is also proud to be the co-editor of the best
selling cookbook “Gatherings”.
Karen Campbell, Law Clerk
Karen joins Bergel Magence
LLP with over 7 years of experience as a
Law Clerk in both insurance and corporate law. In addition to a
having successfully completed her law clerk’s designation, Karen
has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University.
Karen specializes in processing Accident Benefits claims for
accident victims. She ensures that their rights are protected and
that they receive all the benefits entitled to them.
